Westendorf is situated between the 2 top ski resorts of Kitzbuehel and Skiwelt.

The Ki-West gondola links Westendorf to Kitzbuehel and new for 2008/09 is a new gondola to link Westendorf with Brixen. (Connection in the past was done via ski bus between Westendorf and Brixen.

This will create the third largest interconnected ski region in the world.
