19. int. Libro Balloon Cup - 19.09.2008 - 26.09.2008
For the 19th time 30 teams are meeting in Kirchberg to hold their competition high up in the air! The NIGHT OF BALLOONS are going to be a special highlight again this year!

"Almabtrieb" and mountain festivals - 20.09.2008
Ceremonial driving down of cattles from the mountain pastures into the valley in autumn. Live music and beer garden.

WINTER EVENTS

There are also many events during the winter months ( please see the tourist office for dates) but one of the most spectacular events is in February - JUMP & FREEZE. In this event approximately 100 competitors from all over the world compete for prize money by jumping in to a basin filled with 300.000 litre of ice cold water!
